On the edge of where medium sized companies spend a lot of money on wastewater taxes, the DANA system covers a range of onsite wastewater treatment. By combining three innovative technologies we are creating a small footprint reactor. The reactor exists of a aerobe and anaerobe part which leads to effective and energy efficient treatment.

Description
Aqua Explorer, Aqwise, WESTT and NHLhave together developed and commercialize the DANA(Dynamic ANaerobic Aerobic reactor). By integrating anaerobic and aerobic processes in one vertical configuration, DANA allows for both biological processes to occur simultaneously. The result is an highly efficient treatment process, capable of treating highly polluted effluents while halving the required facility footprint with respect to current horizontal anaerobic and aerobic systems. The most important difference to conventional Anaerobic reactor is the absent of costly internals, what makes the reactor up to 30% less expensive.
Deliverable
A full scale design is currently made ready for construction.
In our labs we can do extensive testing to determine the wastewater behavior, hence optimizing the reactor design.
